We did iPads during technology time.  In math we learned more about place value to one thousand.  It was funny when Andres flushed the toilet and it didn't stop forever and ever.

Today we started to learn about three-digit addition.  I think it's going to be tricky!  Tomorrow's lunch is chili cheese fries, vegetables, roll, and cantaloupe.

We did a super fun activity this morning for writing! We chose somewhere else in the United States that we wanted to live and we wrote about it. Mrs. Schlickbernd made a Google form for us to fill out with our writing, so we typed it on the iPads then we turned it in online! We took the information we wrote and mapped it at www.batchgeo.com. You can see our finished map below. If you click on the flags, you can read about where we'd want to live and why.

Today we performed our plays for the first graders and our parents.  We had iPad time.  It was funny when we found a bug in the girls' bathroom.  Ella got it and was showing it to Mrs. Schlickbernd when it fell out of the tissue and onto the table!  Mrs. Schlickbernd brushed it onto the floor and Braxton stepped on it.  Ewww!

Today we learned more about fossils to prepare for our trip to Ashfall Fossil Beds next week.  We also did another day of MAP tests in the computer lab.  Our field trip is coming up on Tuesday!

Today we took a math test.  It had questions about temperature and time on it.  We went to the playground and looked for clues about who and what lives there.  We were paleontologists!  Tomorrow we are having ham and swiss casserole for lunch.  May 17 is our last day of school.
