In math we started learning about telling time to 5 minutes.  Mrs. Schlickbernd taught us two card and dice games that we can play to practice telling time.  We learned about Carl Johnson who survived when the Titanic sunk.  He lived in Nebraska, but now he's dead.  It was funny when Susy and Ella made up a poem about a kangaroo at recess.  It goes like this "I'm a kangaroo, I know what to do.  I live at a house so I grab my mouse, because I'm a kangaroo"  They are going to sing it to the class someday.  Saturday, April 14 is the anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic.
