Our spelling rule this week is long o.  You can spell it ough and ow.  Tomorrow is Tuesday.  Senator Fischer is visiting our school tomorrow! Remember to wear your blue ribbon t-shirts.  I am proud that Mrs. Dodson is here in our class.

Best Day Ever

We are learning about subtracting and regrouping.  Everybody has troubles with it every now and then.  We learned about needs and wants and that scarce means there's not enough of something.  I remember when we saw the snow village before Christmas.  It was cool.  I am proud that people helped me rebuild the snowfort at recess after another student broke it.

Today we learned more about how to regroup when subtracting.  Then we had music and reading.  We learned how to make a cool snowflake.  I'm proud of our school for being a Blue Ribbon School.

We learned how to regroup 1 ten for 10 ones.  If you show your manners, that is called being prompt.  Remember that we have a new guidance book.  I am proud of myself for winning the quiet game.

Funniest Day!

We found Rusty (Our classroom Elf-on-the-Shelf) fishing for our fish, Spike!  Rusty is an Elf on the Shelf.  We learned how to add 1 digit numbers and 2 digit numbers.  We watched "What Does the Fox Say?" with a minion singing.  It was funny!  I am proud of our class because we go to the care center and read to the residents.

What A Day!

Today we learned about magnets.  One side of the magnet is called the south pole, and the other side is called the north pole.  We also learned how the Pilgrims lived.  I am proud of us today because in music Mrs. Nicholson said we were very good with the Christmas concert songs.  Don't forget that we get out early on Wednesday at 2:00 and have no school on Thursday or Friday. Happy Thanksgiving!

Today we took a math test on mental addition.  We did our November mile in PE today.  Remember to attend the Blue Ribbon Ceremony on Friday at 2:00.  I am proud of our class because we did a good job on our math test.
