Today we learned how to subtract two digit numbers with regrouping.  We didn't use the models!  We had art today.  We learned about designing ideas in Science.  The Christmas program is next Tuesday, December 4.  The spelling rule for the week is long e.  It is spelled ee, ea, or y.

Today we learned a new math game.  It is called Clear the Board.  One of our small groups is making a book on Scribble Press.  Another group is making a movie trailer in iMovie.  We took our spelling buddy tests.  There were lots of good grades!  Thanksgiving is next week.  We have the door decorating contest today.  We hope we win!

In music we did games.  At read aloud we finished Charlotte's Web.  In Daily 5 we did Listen to Reading, Read to Self, Work on Words, and Work on Writing.  We had library today.  We have a late start on Monday.

We did a science experiment today.  We had to try to keep a cup of water warm using foil, paper towel, or plastic wrap.  We finished decorating our door for Charlotte's Web.  The judging for the door contest is tomorrow.

We did writing number sentences in Math then had to regroup to add.  In Science we had to come up with a way to prevent our ice cubes from melting.  We used the iPads to sketch our design then we tried it. Book orders are due tomorrow.  The Veteran's Day program is tomorrow morning.
